It’s been awhile since I lasted posted on here, and let’s just say quite a bit has changed. In the last few months, I got a goldendoodle, took a one way flight to California, and as of today recorded my very first guest podcast. Kind of crazy, if you ask me.
Why is that crazy?
Because just five years ago, my life look quite different. I was struggling with a 10+ year struggle with anorexia. And I was TERRIFIED of doing anything outside of my routine. I was the kind of girl who would get so filled with overwhelm that I’d allow my anxiety to push everything I knew that I needed to do off another day. And then when that day came, I’d push it off yet another day.
Who would have even thought that ONLY five years later I’d be living the life I’ve always wanted and more? NOT only healthy, but happy with a goldendoodle across the country in California?
And I guess the reason I’m sharing today is because there’s still a part of me that wish I knew what I know today. And that’s the fact that 1.) life changes all the time, and the only thing certain is change 2.) it doesn’t matter what your past looks like or where you’ve been in life as LONG as you decide that you want better. At any single point today, YOU HAVE THE DECISION to make a change and completely change the trajectory of your life. 3.) that sometimes it’s not about doing what’s right for everyone else and that what matters most in life is that you do the right thing for yourself.
Speaking of right things in my life, I HAVE to talk about this goldendoodle of mine.
He’s one of the best decisions I’ve ever made in my life and yes… I like to spoil him all the time. Thankfully, this time around, we’ve had the pleasure of partnering up with BabbleBoxx again to review a few new products from Summer Pet 2022 BabbleBoxx! If you would like to know which products we loved (and which ones we didn’t), please read below.
1.) Fruitables YOGOS Treats
Up until this point, we hadn’t heard of this product. But upon first glance, we absolutely loved the packaging (and Harrison loved the smell). We thought it was interesting that they were yogurt-based dog treats with REAL yogurt and superfoods (like blueberries). And absolutely loved that they were free of grains, wheat, corn, and soy proteins. Upon further inspection, we saw a few more ingredients than we personally would have preferred in a dog treat, but overall loved them. Unlike the peanut butter and greek yogurt that we’ve been training with (**don’t judge me**😂) , these were a lot less messy. They were perfect for training purposes! And Harrison loved them.
Quick Summary:
What They Are: Yogurt-based dog treats with real yogurt and superfoods (like blueberries)
Claims: They are free of grain, wheat, corn, and soy protein
Ingredients:Dried yogurt (dried cultured skim milk, lactic acid, natural flavor), chickpeas, tapioca starch, vegetable glycerin, potato, tapioca syrup, coconut oil, blueberry, sunflower lecithin, natural flavor, lactic acid, calcium sulfate, dried cultured skim milk, rosemary.
2.) Outward Hound Slow Feeder Dog Bowl
We have to be honest in that we already had this bowl… and not just one of them, but two.😂 Not sure who has been following along on Harrison’s IG account, but awhile back, he was inhaling his food and then gagging immediately following his meals. To fix this, we elevated his bowl up and started using this bowl again. In a matter of a few days, he was all better-no gagging. So when we say that we highly recommend these bowls, we mean it. (The only con to using these bowls is cleaning them!)
Quick Summary:
What It Is: A dog bowl meant to lengthen meal times. It can be used for dry, wet, raw, and frozen foods.
Claim: Helps to keep them engaged UP TO 10x longer during mealtimes which helps digestion and helps them to adapt to a healthier pace

3.) Outward Hound Integrative Treat Puzzle Toy
This was our first time using this particular puzzle, and let’s just say I wasn’t quite sure if he’d get it as it was slightly complicated. Long story made short, we put Fruitables Logos in it, and he found all three pieces in less than 2 minutes. While we only used it with dry treats, we are REALLY looking forward to trying some of the frozen treats that were highlighted on Outward Hound’s website.

4.) Galaxy Vets Bandana
Let’s just start out by saying this… Harrison is the only dog that I know of that actually enjoys modeling off a bandana. And this was no different. Unlike most other bandana’s out there this one stands for the Galaxy Vets Foundation, a non-profit that is currently raising funds to aid shelters, zoos, service dogs, and volunteer organizations within Ukraine. And just like his mommy, he loved being able to represent something that actually matters.

5.) Simple Solution Extreme Pet Stain and Odor Remover
I have to start out by saying that Harrison is an oddity in that he has been so well behaved, even as a puppy. While we had a few accidents when he was younger, there really haven’t been any… outside of the MIDDLE OF LAX.😂 (Things you don’t hear on Instagram).
But of course, accidents do happen. So we have this on hand for emergencies. While we haven’t yet used it, we love that it’s professional strength that eliminates stains and odors. It’s meant for urine, feces, or vomit. And it’s a must have for any dog-mom or dog dad or dog-mom or dad to be.😂
And yes, if you are questioning whether to get a dog, take that one way flight you’ve always wanted, or start that business , take this as your sign to say screw it and do it.
