They say when someone says you can’t do it. Do it twice, and take pictures. And when it comes to DIY projects, YOU can do it. The most important part it to take a picture!
So today, I’m sharing a gorgeous wreath you can make in less than 45 minutes! It’s easy peasy and so pretty. And with my tips, you can do it all on a budget.
What You Will Need:
Wreath, Artificial Flowers, Wire, Wire cutters (Scissors), and ribbon (optional)
Steps:
Step #1:
If you bought a bouquet, please cut the flowers off the bouquet using the wire cutters. (Note: It’s harder than you probably would have imagined it to be as there is wire in the flower stem.)
Step #2:
Place flowers onto the wreath and play around with it! I’ve had to move several of the flowers so that it looked okay!
Step #3:
Once you have decided, take a picture and start with the first flower.
Step #4:
Take the flower, bend the green stem around the wreath and use force to get it to stay in place. If desired, wrap a 6 inch piece of wire around the stem and secure on a branch by wrapping the wire like so.
Step #5:
Repeat Step 4 until completed. Put all the flowers in the desired places and make sure to secure.
Note: You may decide to cut more of the green stem off and secure with the wire instead. Alternatively, you may choose to forgo the whole tutorial and hot-glue. The only thing about hot-glue is that it doesn’t last as long. And sometimes, if you are not careful, it gets rather messy. (I KNOW!)
So please try it, and TAG me! I’d love to see your creations! Would love to REPOST a few of my favorites!
